Hungary decides to withdraw from the International Criminal Court

Hungary will become the third country after Burundi and the Philippines to withdraw from the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
Hungary announced after the official visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday that the country will withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Gergely Gulyas, private secretary to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, said: “The government will start the process of withdrawing the troops on Thursday in accordance with the constitutional and international legal framework.”
