Volodymyr Zelensky: We have information that 155 Chinese fought in the Russian army

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky briefed on the latest developments in the Russian-Ukrainian war at a press conference in the capital Kiev. President Zelensky stated that he expects the US to negotiate with Russia on the dispatch of Chinese citizens to the front line. Zelensky said that Russia was recruiting Chinese citizens through social media and that Chinese officials were also aware of this. Zelensky emphasized that the Security Service of Ukraine has prepared lists containing the names, dates of birth and the Russian military units to which they are assigned. “The Chinese issue is serious,” Zelensky said, adding that Ukraine is evaluating whether the new recruits to the Russian army received instructions from China. “There are 155 people with names and passport information, 155 Chinese citizens who fought against Ukrainians on the territory of Ukraine, we are collecting information and we believe that there are more, much more,” Zelensky said.
