White House replaces Obama portrait with painting depicting Trump assassination attempt

In the US, one of the official portraits of former President Barack Obama in the White House was replaced by a painting depicting the assassination attempt on new President Donald Trump.The official social media account of the White House shared images of the painting depicting the assassination attempt against Trump.

“There are new works of art in the White House,” the post said.

The newly hung painting depicts the moment Trump raised his fist in the air immediately after the assassination attempt on July 13, 2024. The new painting replaces one of the official portraits of former President Obama, while the Obama portrait has been moved to another section of the White House.
